So I was looking at my knives and noticed I have accumulated a variety with a certain theme. I was bored so I took some quick pics of things I have laying around. I used my phone so they aren't the best pics but they aren't too bad for a phone, indoors, at night. Edit: Some of the pictures the forum software is automatically rotating so they are rotated 90 degrees but the description should be easy enough to figure out.
Here are some titanium frame locks. I'm not a huge fan of frame/ liner locks so I have more than I thought I would own. They are from top to bottom a Kershaw Volt, ZT0551, Camillus Dominator, and Lionsteel SR-1. The open knives are new and a Spyderco Sage 2 on the left and Spyderco M4/G10/Ti Military on the right. I think I'm missing some but can't think of what.
These all have carbon fiber scales and are mostly Spyderco. From top to bottom a S90V Paramilitary 2, S90V Manix 2, Gayle Bradley, Stretch 2, and Caly 3. Again, the open knives are new and a Benchmade gold class Griptilian, and a Rift.
Here is a picture of my M4 LE Rift that I mention more than I should here on the forums. This guy rides in my RFP every single day. I don't like coated blades but is how this one came and the coating is holding up better than I thought it would. I use it for just about everything and have even cut quite a bit of cardboard and wood and it still looks great. The picture makes it look better than in person but I'm still impressed with the coating.
I'm not a fixed blade guy but here are the 3 I own. The top is a custom with desert ironwood and Paul Bos heat treated A2, a NRA made by Benchmade in D2, and a ZDP189 Mule. I had jade green G11 scales cut out when I read that some of the ZDP Mules were too hard and were cracking when pinning on the handle slabs so I put my first and only cord wrap on it. The Benchmade is the only one that gets used occasionally for gutting, skinning, and deboning game although I usually use a folder.
Close up of custom fixed blade handle.
Here is a pocket dump from today. I have full pockets. For knives I had my M4 Rift, S90V Paramilitary 2, Lionsteel SR-1, Salt 1 that acts as a money clip w/ $86, and a Leatherman Micra which has a little blade. A BIC lighter, wallet, Burts Bees lip balm, an AKOray flashlight, some change, a KelTec PF9 (7+1 ready to rock), Listerine strips, pill fob, and truck keys with Swiss-tech pliers, mini pill container, black mini sharpie, 8 gig micro SD card w/ reader, and Wendys card for free small frosty. Plus my fitted camo Florida baseball hat that I am almost always wearing. And not pictured is my HTC Evo phone that I was using to take pictures with.
Here are some pistols that escaped from the safe and are hiding in my room. A Kahr MK9, Taurus hammerless model 85, KelTec PF9, Springfield 1911, and a Ruger GP100.
Here are some rifles that again aren't in the safe and were handy to take a picture. A Remington model 11-87 auto loader 12ga, Benelli R1 chambered in 30-06, S&W MP15 AR-15, S&W MP15-22 AR-15 chambered in .22, and a RWS model 48 pellet gun in .177
Those are some of my toys that were laying around. I have quite a few more knives both used and NIB and a couple more guns. Let me know if you have any questions!
