So I went a little crazier than normal this month buying knives. I know I pale in comparison to some of you guys, but this is a lot for me!
My two Swamp Rat additions came in (thanks Eric!!). I asked Eric to get me a RatManDu in Desert Sage with Tan canvas micarta scales and a Tanker Grey Rodent Solution with Gray canvas micarta scales. I had an exact twin of this RMD and sold it just a couple of weeks ago. Well, I couldn't stand it so I ordered another one! I had Eric at Mashed Cat make me up some Kydex for them. I think the colors came out perfectly. I've been EDC'ing the RS this week but haven't had a chance to use it yet. It carries so well, I keep forgetting it's there and grab my Izula instead!
I saw a BHK I hadn't seen before recently on a post somewhere or another and scoured the web to find out what it was. I finally broke down and emailed L.T. and he told me what (Woodcrafter) and where so I ordered it (thanks Rob!).
I'm not a knife snob and these three knives are going to get used - a lot. But I've got to say, Bussekin does knives right. Nobody, and I mean nobody does fit and finish like those guys. If I had to pick another, L.T. and Dan at BHK and their crew are so close in quality control, it's hardly worth mentioning. Both awesome companies putting out amazing quality. I just can't say enough good.
Anyway, enjoy, I may try to post up some pics of my other recent picks soon, too.
