I had some time today and took a few pictures. Thanks for looking!

Some Case knives - the yellow one is a 1979 that I was really happy to find since I wanted a Case with a bail. I live about 2.5 hours from Bradford and my wife and I love to visit.

A 1980 (my birth year) Case medium stockman. I was really happy to get a 1980. Found it this year at the Keystone Blade Show in Lewisburg, PA. Bought it from Marlyn, the same guy I got the Case peanut in the above picture from.

Tidioute with Mexican bocote, and my mom's old girl scout knife. It sharpened up very nicely! The 1095 on the GEC is also a great steel that gets very sharp. I narrowed the edge angle quite a bit with a coarse stone when I got this one.

Currently my only Queen knife - mini trapper in cocobolo. I love this knife and the fit/finish is impeccable. I am planning to get a zebra wood Queen sometime soon. I spent quite a long time narrowing the edge on these blades.

My 2 customs - Menefee shadow and Davison linerless, both in micarta:

Wow!!! Some very nice knives. I really like the Case with the bail and it's yellow to boot. Very cool. Your Mom's Girl Scout Knife is very nice.

You've got some great taste in knives. Thanks for posting your collection.

Thanks guys.
You bet the Menefee and Davison are users! I have used that Davison quite a lot since I got it last year; sharpened it a few times... A very handy knife. The Menefee is newer but it has put in some time as well.

All of my knives are users at least occasionally, although I am not really too hard them. Actually 2 of my more heavily used knives are not pictured; one of them is a more recent yellow Case 3 1/4" CV pen knife that has a rather funky staining/patina courtesy of... Taco Bell! I will take more pictures at some point.

Mr. Phelps,
Which model is that little Tidioute with the brown wood handles and wharncliffe blade?

Very nice collection! I really like the idea of owning Mom's old GS utility knife. That Davidson is particularly sweet: looks like quite a little scalpel.

Hi nphelps4130 -

Very nice collection!

Thanks for posting the pictures.

best regards -

Thanks again for looking guys

Hey puukkoman - The GEC is a 3" #25 Jack. Blade stamp is 250109. Mexican bocote handles with serial number 18 on the bolster. I am liking this one more and more... I have an EZ-open 3" on the way - zebra wood GEC with sheepsfoot blade. I will be sure to post a picture when I get it.

Hey texasflyfisher - all 3 of my yellow Case knives are CV. I like my CV and carbon steel slipjoints I have quite a bit. The 1095 on the GEC is also excellent, and even that old Kutmaster Girl Scout knife takes quite a wicked edge!

Looks like a nice patina on the GEC, or is that the angle of the lighting or something?

Actually that is a trick of the light, or maybe some fingerprints... That blade has seen a lot of cardboard, mail, packages, etc, but not much else and no patina yet. It is a great mini hard worker. Very sturdy knife and the smooth shape is good in the hand and pocket.
