I hang out in the Kershaw forum a lot, and have maybe
a handful of posts in this forum.
I got to thinking what brought me into using and collecting knives.
It was the "Pocketknife". The stockman, the peanut, the trapper, the lockback.

Here are a few of my production lockbacks, slippies
and a Davie Boultinghouse fixed blade that I've collected over the years.
A varied range of brands and styles is certain.
By no means are any of these considered "old".
Old to me maybe, but I'm all of 35 yrs young. :D
Some of these designs have just stuck with me,
purely for aesthetic value, like the 2-blade muskrat Boker.
The 3 Copenhagen Schrades I "earned" back in the 90's for saving those stupid lids. :D
Some are more sentimental such as the yellow Schrade which I gave my
grandfather and later received back after he passed away.

Thought I would share some of my own with you.

(sorry for the not-so-great pics)

NICE collection I especially like the SCHRADES. I just got my PA's knife today a 34OT, from my uncle, in my pocket as I "hunt and peck", it's almost as if he is w/me and he's been gone since Jan. '99 those pieces are priceless!!!

You may want to post the Schrade pictures on the collectors forum, I know the guys there would love to see them.

Very nice Mike. I really like the Schrades, and somewhere around here I have a couple of Barlows from years past.

i look at those and they remind me of what got me into knives also. my simple little scout knife (a SAK). i look at those pics mike and i think, "boy, i know i dont have alot of them, but there is just something about them that screams classic." I have always avoided these knives at shows (well not compleatly avoid, but never enough to fall for one), but now i feel like i am going to be doing a LOT more browsing.

darn you mike for ignighting that spark in me for the traditional :D

Some fine looking knifes you got there, I like the Cope Schrades,
seems like a useful stockman.

Thanks for sharing.

Looks like you have all the bases covered as far as knife patterns. Just think now you will never have to buy another knife. But we all know better than that.:)

Well, I guess I'll take better pictures since the Schrades have "won" and
post them in the collectors forum.
I had no idea everyone liked Schrade. (the old Schrade anyway)

Yeah, I guess I'm done buying knives. No need to get any more. :D:D NOT!

Sweet collection. Love that small Buck.

That is the Buck Rainbow Titanium #565RB. I always wanted to carry it on
my keyring, but my Swisstech is always taking up the space. :)

Thanks for the replies gang.
