To true... it looks like you do nice work canbkr. You need better pics to show it off. Do a search for knife photography here, and you'll come up with a bunch of great threads that'll help.
 
no offence taken,i'll have to improve on the picture taking (and get a better camera).i'll do the search and see what i can come up with as for getting better pics.
 
The first pic is pretty good. Nice dagger. Looks like you need some more light and a macro function though. The light is self-explanatory but if your camera has a macro funtion, use it. It allows you to get very close to the object you photographing and remain in sharp focus. I'd definatly like to see those nice looking knives in focus. :)
 
just a basic digital camera that came with the printer we purchased some time ago(the camera is a vivitar vivicam model 3632,not the greatest for what i'm trying to accomplish)
