... but not as cool as Ron Perlman for doing this for a local boy here with cancer.

This has got to be one of the best stories I've read in a long time.

When we watched Lemony Snicket a few years ago, Jim Carrey [special features interview] talked about how make-up can take two to three hours, depending on the character; and you basically roast while you're made-up/in costume.

The weather here is hitting upper 80's to mid-90's, so it was a real effort for Perlman to do this.

I thought you folks would enjoy this. Share it with anyone who needs some cheering up.

Very cool. Ron Perlman seems like a great guy all around, this is further proof of it. I thought I read another charitable event he was at recently, though forget what it was. Good to know there are some sane celebs out there doing charitable things.

What a truly lovely story!

The look on the little lad's face when he's standing with his hero is simply priceless!

We've known several families who have been encouraged by Make A Wish.

The rumor has been going around here locally for years that we have a couple in Concord, Walnut Creek or Clayton that regularly finance these Make A Wish grants. They've always remained anonymous.

To me, it's those quiet people out there, that sacrifice the way this local couple does, that make our community so cool. :)
