Some opinions on a Jimmy Lile Gents folder

Guys ; l recently acquired a Jimmy Lile Stainless steel handled Next Generation Gents folder made to order by Vaugn Neeley. The knife is a non locking kind with a 2 inch 440c blade. Now l am not a knife collector but rather a knife user . So l was wondering if anyone could give me any opinions on how the knife would hold up for EDC. I know a lot of people dislike 440c ( though l don't exactly know why). I also know that the knife was originally.kept in the handle of the First Blood survival knife and only.meant for cutting the cord on the handle of the knife.

The steel, 440C, is a good one depending upon the heat treatment. It is an excellent steel for every day use.
