I received my scales yesterday from Peter R and took a couple pictures of them today with the rest of the orange handles knives. These scales are great. They fit just like the titanium ones did. Extremely tight tolerances and they feel great in my hand. I am very happy with the way they turned out. Small and large Insingo 43-50 and an Umnumzaan. Here are some pictures of my orange toys.

I am starting to think you like the color Orange !!!........I like it too. I have a 3" flipper with an orange handle. I have another 3.5" flipper on its way and I am putting an orange handle on it. I do have an orange handle from Barry H, but dont have it on anything at the moment.........I like your orange handles on the insingo's and the umnumzaan, they definately add to them.............Is it me, or does the G-10 handles on the sebenzas throw the balance off ?? I know my hinderers and strider and ZT have G-10 and they all seem balanced in hand. But when I had it on my sebenza, it just felt off for some reason. Maybe its just me.

Great Collection you have there !!!

dude, are you trying to make me come and steal your collection?
You know I like orange right ;)
Very cool stuff
I enjoy my orangr knives, looks like you're having a good time with them too!

Great looking orange scales.... Peter done a very nice job, Congrats!

I know you love the orange too zyhano. I have loved seeing your recent picture threads with the orange scales while I have waited on mine to get here. I am not sure what it is about the orange I like so much, probably just that they are so hard to lose and very few people would want to steal them from me, except maybe here at Bladeforums.

now that ive seen the size comparison of an xm-18 and zaan...i need one. you have some very pretty knives.

This may be blasphemy in the Chris Reeve subforum, but the 3" XM-18 might be my favorite folder. It is just so smooth and easy to open. The grinds of the Chris Reeves have it beat as far as slicing and general sharpness, but the ergonomics on the Hinderer are just hard to beat. Peter, if you started making some scales for the XM-18s I am sure you would get some business... I know I would take one or two.
