I gotta say he must have a spectacular collection! Somehow I suspect he is getting rather adept at tracking down Estate collections from bygone axe collectors. In every era there were folks squirreling away collectibles with an eye to preserving the past by gathering in the present and then waiting out a generation or two. Go to a few serious stamp collectors for instance and you'll find they have amassed many generations of earlier stamp collections.
