Well, all I've got to say is "Awe shucks" and Thank you, that was very kind of you. One of my knives was in the Knives Illustrated "Guess the Maker" feature and three of the people that guessed it was me said some very nice things. Thank you Frank, Shane and Rex. Also thanks to Knives Illustrated for putting it in there and Coop for submitting it for me.
Unfortunately I have lost the digital image that Coop sent me. Coop if you read this would you please post a picture of it here and send me another one? I promise to take better care of it this time. Again, thanks to everyone. Mark

Congratulations Mark.
I have always liked your knives. It will be fun to see the photo.

About a year ago a fellow stopped in at our gallery. While we were talking the subject went to custom knives.
He told me about a knife he purchased from a maker in Alaska. He described it to me......cool handle with turquoise.
First thing I thought of was Mark Knapp. He said, yes that sounds like the guy's name.
Turned out to be one of Mark's knives.
Here I am, in the middle of nowhere and I run into someone who has a knife made by a friend I have never met in person.
Small world.

Hey Mark!

Knives Illustrated - July, 2011 page 7. (Makers mark edited out)

I smiled almost as wide as you at the comments about this knife. Unmistakably Mark Knapp!

The reason you couldn't find a digital copy might be because I don't post the images that will be used on the Guess the Maker page. Bruce Voyles and I want to keep the guessing real. Thanks to Bruce and KI for the opportunity.

You deserve the accolades and it's a pleasure seeing this again!

man those knives are just insane, I have no idea how you do it. Most guys pound and grind and shape their knives into a finished thing. And you just seem to 'pour' your knives into being. So weird. You kind of defy categorization, no one does it the way you do it. You're a definite 'standout', Mr. Knapp.
Keep flying your freak flag high.

Mark,
You do outstanding and original work. It has been equally a joy to read your informative posts, here. A great addition to these forums. Thank you Mark.
*Employee of the Month ;) :)

Wow, neat little knife.

There is a lot going on in that one both the knife and sheath.
