really have balls! I got an email from a guy who "bought" a knife from me back in 2008. Since it was his second order I shipped it while waiting for payment (I didn't have PayPal then, this is what prompted me to get it). He never paid.
The email said his handles separated from the tang, and he wanted me to replace them. The picture he sent showed a very unusual Kephart, along with a Hiker, that he did pay for. Something jogged my memory, and I did a search in the G,B, & U forum, and found this, same name as in his email,

If it is that unusual have him send it back so you can repair it.

Re-scale the knife, scotch brite spa treatment and then sell it - or better yet - do a scumbag raffle with the link to the rip-off thread. I am in for at LEAST two entries.

Have a little fun with it - at Jessies' expense - for once.

This! I'd be all in for a raffle for sure multiple entries.
 
I'd even make a custom sheath for it free of charge to whoever gets the knife. I'll cover shipping For John to send it to me and ship it to the new owner with whatever style of sheath they want.
 
He quit replying to me after I asked him for his BF name. I had to search for my post in GB&U to find the thread.
 
Yeah, that is really low, he also had a chance to make up for it, do a mea culpa, and make it right. Plenty of time has passed to do the right thing, so no stories. Either offer to pay for it, or since he got some value from using it all these years, send it back and let it be refurbished and placed up for auction.
