lachine, Thanks for the pics. I have been checking out Fallkniven for a while. Those pics really helped.

How has VG10 worked for you?

I never owned a VG10 knife but I checked it out in the stores not the same. Carbon V is awesome easy to sharpen holds and edge.

I currently own Cold Steel's master hunter but the F-1 and the smaller one you have pics of really has my attention.

The F-1 seems a little more compact and better designed.

my complaint about the Master Hunter is the bulkiness of the handle, the grind is really steep, the edge-geo is a bit too upswept.

It seems the F-1 has addressed all 3 of my issues, though I haven't held one.

Thanks

Chris

Hi,chris,my USA friend, glad to correspond with you.i have owned some knives:Fallkniven F1,WM1,MC1,Coldsteel trailmaster carbon V,Busse steelheart E,Gerber MK2 2002 Limited edition,Timberline aviator,M9,D80,and will get Busse assault shaker! In these knives,I like Fallknivens very much although I don't use them frequently(useless in city).all fallknivens emit tactical smell,I like tactical design, you know.in city, you couldn't carry big blade, thinking the length.F1 and WM1,especially WM1,is your best choice as EDC for those they don't confide in Fold!ALL Fallknivens represent "sharp",VG10 and LAM VG10 hold awfully sharp edge.i have tested F1 not long ago,I used F1 to cut parachute rope.it went easy!
F1's thickness is 4CM,it can sustain any pressure!J.Peter have experiment over 10 years in designing blades,so you can find fine ergonomy in Fallknives. All fallknivens are great knives.recommend!
