Hi everyone, well, I have been trying to get out and take some photo's of knives, and just have been very busy..so this afternoon I took advantage of a bit of sun poking out...
My lovely Case Red Bones... two new arrivals very recently, shown in here with a couple of group shots, the 60's and 70's red bone Case knives are simply beautiful..

a fantastic gift from a great Baldeforums member... a beaut of a slicer, a knife built with simplicity, and the use is such as well...fantastic-thank you my friend...

A quick group shot of this weeks EDC's... because these are some of my absolute favourites....
knives007.jpg

A very cool 1984 Schrade Whittler...just a honey of a knife, lovely red bone, beautiful actioned knife as well.....

Heres something that I think is extremely neat, some may think the blade etch is over the top-as some dont like them..I on the other do, and I LOVE the Jigged Bone...it just fantastic, this German made Gunstock is in my opinion one hang-of-a knife!

Gorgeous pictures as always Duncan!

That Case red bone Barlow is the most beautiful Barlow I have seen - competing even with the Forum Barlow from a few years back (which I wish I had one of by the way!)

Your 2011 EO Jack is showing a nice patina, proving that you do indeed rotate your knives into EDC (there was no doubt in my mind...) and that you use them when you carry them!

The jigging on that beautiful "invincible" knife almost looks like a Morel mushroom - that is a good thing! Nice!

Thanks for the great pictures - you have a great collection and excellent taste!

best

Duncan those are all great looking knives. The redbones are just stunning, the Schrade is one I'd love to have b but the gunstock shines above all.
Thanks for sharing and once again, good luck and all the very best.

but wait!..theres more.....
Scored this very neat little Imperial that wears the D/E badge and has etched on the main blade " Diamond Edge 383"...lovely knife ...
knives008.jpg

Carried my absolutely lovely John Primble today...I cannot tell you how awesome this knife is, my favourite= of my Primbles....
knives009.jpg

Here is the Stag Primble's competitor for 1st=, a near perfect Honey Bone Whittler with the most gorgeous Swedges....this is a sweetheart of a knife..
knives016.jpg

A trapper that FES is fiercely trying to wrench out of my hands, the photo does not do this knife any justice....Lovely Schrade Trapper ...
knives001.jpg

This bad-a** John Lloyd - now this knife rocks!...lovely Stag, beautiful actioned knife...almost what you could describe as a sub-hilt Folder!...just a beaut! Thank you Vince and Thank you John for everything..

Thanks for sharing all these great pieces.

Glad to browse through them.

Thank you guys for the kind comments, Andy that Case Barlow means one hell of a lot to me, and somebody out there knows just why, one of the reasons is that the knife was made the same year I decided to enlighten the world with my presence :D, 1964 Vintage, and I can vouch that the knife's bone condition is in one hang of a better state than mine

Stunningly beautiful Duncan!

That barlow and Texas jack are just amazing, and the 1984 Schrade (a year dear to me as I completed my undergraduate degree and asked my wife to be mine forever) . . .

Well, I simply cannot describe how much pleasure these photos bring me. Thank you so much for sharing them with us.

That Primble of yours is beautiful Duncan, almost looks like Kauri gum??.....The redbones are gorgeous, and that LLOYD i had trouble handing back to you!!..a lovely, solid classy knife for sure and a credit to its maker....all class and great pics.........................FES

One of these knives just may be up for grabs in a certain competition!, now if you cant figure it out, you just have to wait :)

Duncan the red bone Case knives are gorgeous!!! They are my all time knife weakness---I've been collecting them for over 40 years. Great knives and pictures my friend!!!

Duncan I think I rushed with my previous response, those Primbles are gorgeous. An admirable collection.

Duncan,

You sure have some fine knives. Thanks so much for taking the time to take some pictures.

The driftwood(?) sets up everything so well-- interesting yet neutral background, nooks and crannies for holding knives at good angles.

Few things say "pocket knife" to me like Case's old red bone-- and by that I mean historically old as your knives are, not "Old red bone" as they currently label some of their current pink production knives. Even the darker ones, of which I'm glad to have one example, are still red and a totally different presentation from the saturated dark goodness of previous decades.

Beautiful, especially the knife on the middle left. Now, that's a jack knife!

Wow!! Thanks for sharing those pictures. A great bunch of knives...

Nice knives, Duncan. The Red Bone Case are some of the finest Case made. The handle on that Loyd is reminiscent of a Loveless "New York Special", although the blade is different.

Again, very nice!

That Lloyd rocks.
You definitely have some beauties there, but some are just a little nicer than others.

I agree with everyone else about the nice redbone collection. I also like that gunstock. Thanks for taking the time to take the pictures and post them.
