Friday night had a nice fire at the pit. Took out the RMD along with the CGFBM. The RMD worked great on the medium to small stuff and the CGFBM well you already know what she can do. The TM DSF got left behind, first time in a long time. I had the RMD flexed pretty good in a hardwood log and should have taken a picture but did not, not as good as a flex that the TM did but it was good. I swear these are the best Family group of knives/steel EVER from what I have tested...Check out the Mosquito looking at the CGFBM...they were thick that night, I lost at least a gallon of blood even with the roaring fire.
Saturday the Wifey and I took the baby to Quabbin Reservoir Park, awesome views, hiking, fishing, etc... Today we just stayed in the car and drove real slow through the park, glad we did because we saw a nice Whitetail Doe halfway through....The last picture is a panoramic shot of the Enfield Lookout where the Town of Enfield used to be before they flooded the land to make Quabbin Reservoir. The State wiped out 4 towns during this build. You can usually see Bald Eagles from this point. This small image does not do this shot justice, I stiched about 8 or 10 shots to make it.
If any of you make it up to Central Mass and like to Fish send me an email or PM and I will take you out on Quabbin for a guided fishing trip for Lake Trout, Landlock Salmon and Smallmouth Bass.
Overall it was a great weekend.
