Yesterday I finally had time to go visit my favorite lake and hike aroud a bit. I love to wander throught woods in autumn especially when the weather is excellent - sunny and warm. The forrest isn't as colorful yet, as it will be in two - three weeks, but first signs of autumn are of course visible. Me and my wife took our little girl (two and a half months old) on her first hike and she loved it
! She was admiring everything with eyes wide open - lovely view 
As a main knife I took my DSSF and I have to tell that I love this knife more and more each time I use it. It's qiute light blade - it doesn't feel heavy on your belt even after 5 hours of walking. :thumbup: I carry mine in one of azwelke excellent sheaths.
The dssf is a very versatile knife - with its flat grind it cuts well and choppes very well to :thumbup: It hepled me to make a small fire. i also used it to cut the mushrooms - it's got a great balance, and this work with this knife wasn't as awkward as it would seem.
