Some pics from an Easter walk..(tasty)...

After traditional polish Easter breakfast me and my family decided to go to our favorite woods to get some fresh air and see if the spring is here yet.
The spring is definately here:

After couple of hours we got hungry. Luckily we had some kielbasa :thumbup: and all we needed was a small fire. The dssf is suprasingly good chopper for it's weight :thumbup: (I know a child would easly break those thin branches in half, so could I - but it was MUCH more fun to chop them with a busse )

Then my Sar-3 helped me with cutting kielbasa it the special way - so it roasts faster and gets crispier.

Here it's a piece during roasting:

Are those Ramps in your first picture?

For those of you that don't know what Ramps are:

They are tasty and good for another week or so if you decide to go on another walk. They're like a leek only sweeter. Great early spring greens.

No, they are not ramps - they are lillies of the valley - my favorite flowers. They smell soooo nice :thumbup:
