The International Blade Show is always such an awesome event. Always great to see people I don't get to see often enough, and always great to see so many Fiddlebacks on display at once :) I learned this year that my favorite lens for woods wandering is definitely not my favorite lens for shows, but I thought I'd share some of the photos I took.

Friday morning, pre-VIP entry, and the Fiddleback booth is ready to go.

A couple of beautiful bolstered burl handles here

I learned I like the Bushnub model quite a bit after looking at the beautiful bolstered one Erich picked up, and I also really liked the green Lone Star edc. I need to give one of those a go soon.

I am definitely liking the Bushcrafter Jr model a lot, I'll have to pick one up when I can.

Very nice bolstered curly cue Bushboot

And of course I am keeping Ken busy by my handling all the knives :D

I checked out the Bishop. Very nice blade, I need to pick up a natural canvas one later...so it will at least be closer to my budget :)

I wasn't the only one scoping out the Bishop, and I was definitely sensing some vibes that size does indeed matter

A couple of the rather infamous members of our little gang checking out the Fiddleback wares :)

My apologies to Adam, I thought I took pics of his knives...but I cannot find them...

All in all it was a great show, and as always I looked forward to doing it again next year.

I enjoyed seeing all of the smiles on some familiar faces, as well as, all the awesome work from the crew......thanks for sharing Brian !

Great pictures. You must have taken the general group knife shots on Friday. It was rather hectic on Saturday. I want one of Allen's knives pictured (bottom left, second one up). Love that thing!

Correct, these were taken early Friday before the show opened. That particular Bison with the magma scales is at BladecoUSA, he should have them posted soon, shoot him a message if you want.

I've been patiently waiting for this thread from you. Nice job Brian! Someday I'll make it out there, someday...

Some very nice shots there Brian, thanks for posting these and bringing back some great memories. My apologies in advance and I mean no ill will, but some of these shots are most definitely from Saturday. My powers of observation never fail me...:D

I've never had the opportunity to get to Blade so I always appreciate these threads! Great pics as always Brian!

Thanks so much for sharing the great pics with those of us who were not able to attend!!

I always love seeing pics of so many gorgeous fiddlebacks in one place. It is also amazing to see the quality of the work being done by all the others who share the shop including the apprentices. If anyone took pics of Adam's knives I would love to see them added to this post.

Thanks Mist!

:thumbup:Thanks for sharing Brian. Wish I a could have been there, with a lot of dough! :D

Hey...second from the bottom in Judy's knives, Forty Point I think, where do I find one of those?!?! In fact both of those smaller designs. Those are screaming!

Thanks Josiah! Yeah, I'm running behind on a lot of things these days...

Thank you Bill, and yes a few were from Saturday. None from Sunday though...

Trust me, I know it is a log trip, I made it last year myself from just north of Ionia...but you really should make the pilgrimage some day!

Thanks man, I'm glad you liked the post!

Thanks for the pics, Mist! I hope I can make it down to Blade one of these years.

Glad you liked it man! I'd tell you the same as I told Dave a couple of replies up^^ :)

Glad you liked the post man. Yeah, Blade always leaves me feeling financially inadequate lol

Well...I'm not really sure. I asked her to email me the next time she made that same knife, or one of the same style but larger models in the same handle config for my wife. Personally I loved the second one down...but would want the bolster in natural or green...something besides white...

+1. I've been wanting to try a 40 point design and would love to know how to contact her.

On Instagram she is @fortypoint
She does not browse the forums often But we might be able to steer her to this thread

Good stuff and thank you from another that will have a while before he has an opportunity to travel for Blade.

I handled a few of her designs at Blade. Came close to buying either the fourth or fifth one from the top. Not sure what model it's called, but I think I'll eventually have to have one. Hopefully in stainless.

Well well...after almost two days of trying, BF finslly let me reply to a post...

Thank you guys for your interest! I'm still working on my website, but you can reach me at fortypoint@gmail.com. I'll also try to upload in Instagram and post on bladeforums more often. Thanks for the heads up Phil!

Brian, the pictures look great!
