Here's some pics form my trip to the forest. Although It was very hot today the forest was literally swarming with mosqitoes and flies. It was too hot and to dry to make a fire - so no knife using pics. I hope next time I'll post some user pics of my HR. :)

Great pics. If you have or do so in the future, I'd like to hear your impressions of the Razor for batonning fire wood

You like the background, huh? :D So one more for you Mark. XMP - I'll try to do some batoning next time - and post pics with some comment. I chopped with HR and it went very smothly. The finish is very durable - only smoothed out, no flaking.

Thanks, I'm curious about the effect of the CBT and the wavy spine, if any. I've been banging away on a BATAC lately, but I think I'd like the extra length on a Razor. I haven't convinced myself to baton with my SFNO, because I know if I do it will be "bye-bye coating".

Great pics! It looks beautiful, can't see the heat and mosquitos in the pics :D

Awesome pics, Tree Herder! I love the woods, and I also love the HR!! :thumbup:

TH, beautiful pics and a beautiful forest you where:thumbup:

Thanks for the pics Treeherder:thumbup::thumbup:

Those Razors are awesome knives!!!

Very nice. Maybe you can go out at night, make a fire and ward off all the bugs...

Nice pics mate. I would like to see more pics of the forest.

Thanks guys for nice words:)
I didn't do much forest pics today. Here's some from the past -not exactly forest but I think they are nice. They were all taken near the place I have my summer cottage. On one of them there is an old unused barn placed on the verge of the forest. And my favorite lake called "Serwent". Very nice place.
Nice pic wired45 - showes very well beautiful shapes of the HR. Cool boat!

Nice pics, love that HR.:thumbup: Of course, I have one exactly like it. :D The handle scales are more like the older SH-E's (color wise) as opposed to the black handles on the Busse knives these days. I don't want to steal your thunder Tree Herder V, but I'll post a couple of HR pics for XMP. Different one in the pics posted.
