Recently I had short (too short) vacation, that I spent in the woods. As a main knife I took my new Badger. It performed beautifully! I used it all the time. It helped me to make couple of fires, and I even did some chopping with it (but about that I'll tell you next time).
I really like this knife - it's a GREAT all-arounder  Not too heavy, but big enough even for light chopping. Due to the flat ground it's a good slicer (as for the knife this thick of course). Mine has a standard handle and I like it a lot. And TAN IS BEAUTIFUL in reality (much more beautiful than in the pisc) :D:thumbup:

Your Badger looks like she loves being in her natural element...

Did you sharpen it before taking her out... or use the factory edge?

And please do share your experience with chopping.

Great pics... thanks for sharing.

.

I did not sharpen her yet :D
She has factory edge - a really good one. Came to me sharp and stays sharp untill now ! That's why I love INFI!
As to the chopping - I've got some pics - but need time to upload them and to write a couple of words about working with badger. I'll try to post some pics and thoughts in a short time but not today... I'm quite overloaded with paper work after the vacation...:grumpy:

Thanks for the Great Pics! Looks like it must have been a nice time.

Great pics! My badger gets out and sees action too - i love it! I haven't sharpened mine either, but give it a little strop every once in a while...

Great pics, glad you took the time to post. Hope you had a great time. I haven't used my BA yet but I love the feel and next time out I think I'll take it for a workout.

It's too bad you had to endure all that beauty and outdoor activity. But it looks like you toughed it out.

The mushrooms in the basket are called "podgrzybki" in Polish :D They taste good when dried and added to a sauce or soup. Sadly they give no magical visions, no matter how much you eat them..:grumpy::D

I'm only starting to think about the wedding... no kids yet, but my Lady loves woods walking and mushrooming as much as I do.
