NICE shots - those hand-shaped smooth bolt handles are things of beauty. And that SH-e just makes me want to weep. I don't get why the prices was so high on that one.

That SH-E is sweet.

I guess the price is so high is because its a rare older blade...just guessing.
 
Man are we going to NEED a Ganaza after this show! I am really feeling the need to FEED on INFI!:thumbup:

(Now as an additional bonus if Amy would be willing to add a cheesecake or two as part of the next Ganaza I do think that would add to the festive mood!!:thumbup::D:thumbup:)

I guess, but I've seen rare older blades sell for prices a whole lot closer to the original factory ones.

I guess they figured "heck, the scalpers are just gonna snatch this one up and sell it for a $200 markup, so we might as well get some of that extra dough"


Of course, I had an awesome proxy and would have actually USED the thing, not stuck it in a safe or sold it off for twice what I paid, but whatever...

wow, is that a smooth-bolt/hand-shaped-micarta/sabre-ground FSH (a HH maybe?) for $467 :eek: wow, what an amazing deal. surely someone bought those things...

Great photos Paul. It was great meeting you and the other guys and gals at the show. A great bunch, for sure!

Thanks again to Amy, Wuz, Beef, Josh and Garth. You all were terrific, and very thoughtful and helpful -- not to mention fun to be with! Jerry, your true genius is getting these great people to work with you. They did a wonderful job for everyone, from the new kids on the block like me to the old hands.
