It was cloudy, but no rain, and quite worm. Perfect day for wandering in the woods (only those damned mosquitos....)
First obligatory knife pics (the batac has become my favorite companion for one day hikes - fairly light, cuts well and is big enough to chop some wood for a small fire):

A'm about to purchase new camera - so be prepared for more...:D

Lot of character added to that knife between the first and second shots. Good work. And beautiful pics, too. Can't wait to see what you can do with a good digital SLR. I'm assuming that's what you're getting. :D:thumbup:

I cut the tree from the second pic with the badger that's what the character came from :D:thumbup:
Really - it's just a reflection on the second pic. The coating is very smoothed on this batac and reflects light easily.
I wish I could get a digital SLR...I haven't decided yet what I'm getting but it will be some quite simple digital compact camera. Nothing fancy, but better than my old canon A40...

Nice pics Tree Herder

Looks like a great day to be out - finally. I think Spring is here too - but it has been a long winter. And now that its better - the girls can come out dressed for the warmer weather :);)

Beautiful shots! Thanks for sharing.

That broken jetty and old boat looks like they're from that movie Friday 13th!;)

Hey brother,

never realized Poland was so beautiful!:thumbup:

Great pics

love my xm-18

awesome. gives me something to look at to remind me that the world isn't completely concrete and city filth.

is the pic with the yellow plants a field of Raps?

Thank you all for nice comments :).

knife hunter: Poland is truly beautiful. We have everything here - see in the north, mountains in the south, and beautiful forests. I live in a part of Poland with lots of lakes. In the city where I live there are eight lakes within the city limits .

Gentle Ben - the yellow plant in the pic is oilseed rape. It looks great but smells not so great :D
