...some from SFI might remember it, since i'm no longer apart of that forum in a permanent fashion i thought i'd post up a few pics of it a few years on (5 i believe now). Named "draug carak" or "wolf fang" its one of the last swords i own since getting completely out of sword collecting and toning down to building cars and collecting knives/folders.

i've done 2 roll tatami, water filled bottles (1.25L and such), single pieces of paper free hanging for fun lol...its a great cutter!
 
I actually cant remember how much he charged me...i paid in 4 installments before he made it, but i do know that it was alot cheaper then he charges now as i got in just before he raised the price.

I did hear he isnt making custom after he finishes his production list? heard anything about this...I did want to get a wooden scabbard made by him but might have to try my hand at it (i suck at wood work).

If you really want to do the sword justice, go to www.christianfletcher.com . He does amazing work with hilts, scabbards, and belts.

Why not drop John a line? He has even posted here. Why speculate?

well last time we spoke he told me this (we spoke as friends for some time), but then when i got engaged and now married i dropped off the planet pretty much so i just wondered if he did move on to production of semi-custom pieces. I wasnt making that sound like a bad thing or trying to start rumors, hell john offered me to work with him to learn bladesmithing (unpaid though)...but peoples lives change, focus moves. :)

on the note of christian fletcher i like his work (its brilliant), but if i did pay i would prolly get John to do it if possible, i just liked his scabbard work and to keep that style that only John seems to put out...doesnt matter anyhoo i havnt got money for stuff like that atm.
