Here are a few pics of my personal Ti Framelock. This one is 4" closed, with a right side chisel grind.

Looks great. I definitely like the framelock.

Hi John -

That last picture reminded me of my granddaughter Emily, every time she comes to our house, she goes right for her Spyderco that you sent her, and she is so little that it looks like that little bear with the JK frame-lock on....

I am still loving my JK Ti Frame-lock. I have had it apart a couple of times just to see how it was made and take pictures. Thanks for the additional screws to replace the one I lost, John.

I have been using and carrying the JK exclusively since I received it from John, except only the week I was doing the Kershaw passaround.

I have done quite a bit of cutting with the knife, mostly on boxes and opening packages etc. I also used the knife to cut out the "windows" in my el-cheapo light box that I made for taking pictures of knives etc.

The knife is holding a great edge, just as you would expect of your JK 01 steel.

At the Gathering, I used the knife to "hack" a small 3/4" diameter sapling down to make my fishing pole for the fishing contest. The knife was great, I bent the tree over and chopped at the bend, and the knife cut right into the tree, then I just sawed the little remaining fibers and I was through. The hefty 01 blade makes it easy to do little "swing-chops" to remove branches etc. I think I was the first with a good stick at the contest.

The blade is showing a little patina - I did use the JK as my table knife at the gathering to cut up my steak - that is where the patina came from mostly, cardboard and tree sap did not seem to impact the finish.

I am preparing a picture review to post in the next day or so - I just wanted to comment into this thread.

Teaser picture.

You were first because I was dumb enough to climb a wet, slippery. hill to cut my stick. If anyone had taken a video of me coming back down, and trying to stop before I fell into the lake, it would have been priceless!

She looks good a little dirty!

And these armed teddy bears are really becoming a problem. They are just a bad element.
