I know i've mentioned a few times that i had an extensive truck kit for emergencies
so i figured it was time to prove it. This will also give folks a chance to point out if i am missing anything.
here we go
this is my keychain setup, it consists of my keys, a carabiner thing with multiple keyrings, a boker pry tool, a cool little led flashlight and a victorinox classic.
I also keep another ring handy with a p38, a 3 foot tape measure, a sears 4 way screwdriver and another larger flashlight just in case. These stay in my truck consol
this is the bag i keep all the stuff in (exceptions are boots, canteens and water)
this is the exploded backpack full of stuff. It contains
BDU Pants and extra T-Shirt
Boonie Hat
2 1 liter canteens
my old military poncho
SAS survival handbook and US Army survival, evasion and recovery manual in a ziplock bag
gloves
250 feet of 25 lb fishing line
reference card for different knots
a file for sharpening tools
one of those crappy finger saws
US Army Mess Kit (supposedly WW2 surplus)
50 feet of 550 cord
a backup lighter in a ziplock bag
small first aid kid, also has 2 mini bics in it
paring knife
buck 119
ozark folding saw
2 emergency blankets
steel wool and 2 9 volt batteries
my tool box, keeps my tools
the stuff inside the toolbox, includes
JustInCase car kit
gerber gator
gerber multitool
8" pliers
little vice grips
12 inch Ontario Machete with home made sheath (about probably 20' of 550 cord)
lots of WD 40
rubber gloves
oh and here is another picture of my 11 just so its on topic. It does show the new wrap though
i forgot to take pics of a couple items, i also have a pair of old military boots since i never know what i'll be wearing on any given day (could be hiking books, could be sandals, could be work shoes)
and i added 2 12 packs of water to the back of my truck today, its been so damn hot in mississippi i figured it would be stupid not to keep some water in the vehicle just in case.
at some point in the future i will have to do pics of my edc stuff and my altoids tin...
anyways, i think you guys like pics so i figured it was time to do my part
