So last month ThePointyEnd and I went out on a little hike so he could get some shots together for a project he was working on. Didn't work out like we had hoped, so we are going to have to give that another go. However, I did have a few shots of the area we went to. Enjoy. (Don't really have any gucci knife pics, mine is pretty much the same as it has been for awhile now. We were out there so Pointy could work with the BK4, so I didn't use my 16 much at all, but I did get a few shots of it.)

Picture number 9 is the overhang that sits over top of a really nice swimming hole. Nice little grotto back up in there. The overhang is about 20-25 feet above the water surface. Not sure about camping in there, Pointy is looking into that but has been pretty busy with work so no idea yet on whether we can camp in there.

If I can get the Grand WV Tour Extravaganza put together then we might be swinging by that area for awhile if anyone is interested.

The area is about 45 minutes from where I live. We can hit any one of about a bajillion state parks within an hour to two hours from here, so there is no shortage of nice wooded areas for puttering around in.

The knife isn't blued. That is just the leftover patina from back when I dunked it in diluted PCB etchant after I first stripped it.
