I recently purchased an Ontario AFSK from a reputable dealer and noticed it looks a bit different than my other air force survival knives. From left to right is the 2011 Ontario 499 (The recently purchased), Middle is a Camillus 1984 and far left is my Camillus 1967. I decided to retire my 67 after abusing the heck out of it not knowing until I was older how important that knife is to me. It was given by a good friend of mine that is no longer with us anymore.
Here are some pictures I have of them side by side. The new knife doesn't have the false edge or that groove in the center of the blade. It seems a bit thicker but that may only be because of the amount of abuse the other knives went through.
