Hey there guyz & galz,

I usually don't do the: "check out my latest haul" routine.. But, I gotta tell ya, I am pretty proud of myself as of late.. I am usually more of a Knife & Gun show fellow, as I want to handle my perspective goodies prior to the purchase,, and to be just plain honest, I really like to Dicker with folks!. I sell some on eBay, but don't buy there much..

But,, I got some pretty good values whilst I was a sitt'n on the dock of the eBay recently.. Here is the first of several:

As a young tween and teenager I always wanted one of these smaller Birdseye's(3 1/4 inches closed) stockmans with the yeller scales.. I lost my taste for yellow and black plastic handles after I got my first or second or third bone and or stag scaled Case knife.. but because y'all folksy folks here in this forum keep show'n and talk'n up these yellow and black plastic scaled varments,, I just got me a hanker'n for 'um again, dad~nabbit!.:p:D:thumbup:

It pays to ask the sellers all the questions that you have about a knife. In this case, and with all the ones I purchase I always ask about blade snap and blade wobble with pocket knives I cannot put into my hands to inspect..

That way, their ain't no unpleasant surprises.. Dontcha know!.:)

I got this 1975 hi-carbon Birdseye Case stockman for 17.USD & change + shipping..

Does anyone else here have some good web trades that worked out nicely and they would like to share here??

Nice finds... Every once in a while you can still make a good score on the bay....
Anthony, I like the birds eye knives.. Every time I see one it makes think of older knives from a past era.... :D
There was one on a while back that had jigged autumn peachseed scales.

OH My that sounds positively pocket-worthy!.:D:thumbup:

The Birdseye pattern reminds me of the by-gone era as well.

Oh yes I like that one too navihawk, What pattern number is that one exactly?.

OK, the other two vintage and discontinued Case patterns with the good old carbon steel just landed at the door.

A nice chunky fella 4 1/8 inches closed, Yeller handled 1974 Case 3299 1/2..

.. and a slick Black scaled 1971 31SAB which is also pretty large, right at 3 3/4 inches in the closed position..

Both have have stops and snaps shut like a crocks jaw, mate! And check out the clean razor sharp & thin edge profile lines.. Nothing like today's Case knives.. You just gotta love these older knives.

Man oh man is that thing sweet. I'll double that price...aw heck let's just say $35 even for that puppie:D:D!

Quite a haul, I've never seen that pattern. Now for the 64 thousand dollar question...

Will she see pocket time and if you do love her could you join us in carrying her only for a full year:confused:;):):D!
