First off...let me say that in no way am I comparing these knives to high end production knives...lol. However, I do have to give some kudos to Meyerco with some of their newer folders. For the money (less than 8 bucks usually) they have some rather nice Blackie Collins inspired blades. I just got a nice one with G-10 scales for under 9 bucks! The steel is, well...it is steel...I'm not about to start singing the praises of it...but for the money...for a nice knife for a knockabout...these really can't be beat. I am going out of town today to a "resort" island...and the meyerco blue racer is going with me...if I lose it...no biggy, and it will suit any cutting needs I may have the next couple days. If you haven't tried some of these...give them a fresh look...heck, you will only be out a few bucks if you don't like em!

I actually ran across one of these while picking out a knife for my brothers birthday. For $8 I couldnt NOT add it to my cart. I got the OD green G10 folder. Probably the same one you are talking about. It will go with me anywhere there may be a chance I will lose my knife.

There are some real bargains out there sometimes in economy knives, I recently picked up this Outdoor Edge Pocket-Lite for $20.00 and it is really well made.

AUS8 and G-10 with full steel liners.

I have two Myerco knives. One is really nice, an older model made in Japan (as I recall). The newer Meyerco is anything but an example of fine craftsmanship, and I'm sorry I bought it. So 50/50 is my personal experience; I wouldn't buy another unless I could see it in person beforehand.
