Went on an 8 day fishing trip on the Trinity River in Northern California for Chinook salmon, Rainbow and Brown Trout. Besides the massive amount of smoke everywhere from all the fires it was a great trip. We fished numerous holes up and down the river and also floated it a couple times. The total fish count was 12 salmon and 75 Rainbows and Browns. We only kept about 8 of the salmon and 10 of the trout. Trinity River is one of only rivers open this year in NorCal for salmon. The coast and Sac rivers are closed for Salmon this year. Ended the trip by stopping by our bow hunting spot to see if there were any Bucks around. No shooters. I didnt take alot of pictures but here are some random ones...

Nice pics! Looks like a fun trip. Looking forward to the rivers around here opening early for salmon this year. Unfortunately, I won't have the kind of solitude you guys enjoyed. It's usually combat fishing around here.

Oh No I really want to go to Cali.

Amzing pics and a great time!

What happened to the pics of the Booze?:)

I got the 8" V-Lo for now and Ill probably order one more. I just cant decide which. Good thing they are inexpensive.

That's a great fillet knife, especially for the money. Let me know what you think of it when you get to use it.

Is that red micarta? It looks to have more "grain" than G-10, but I don't remember any red micartas coming down the pipe. Very nice, either way.
