I was in a pawn shop in Anchorage Alaska and was shocked. Some guy put his whole Buck knife collection on consignment. There were incredible deals and knives there. I picked up a old mint 110, a rare 539, a 312 in yellow compostie handle and a 312 with a jig bone handle. I also bought 2 nib David Yellowhorse trappers for $75 each!
There were also a number of Collector Club knives including a 531, 532 and 535 and some gorgeous fixed blade knives that are numbered. They're kind of pricey but if you're looking for one of the Collector pieces you can try calling Ann Frenzel at 907-561-2454 to see if she has what you are looking for. They were pretty good to work with. They don't know that much about knives but they have the price list from the original owner. They gave me the yellow handled 312 for free after buying all the other knives.
After all the pawn shop visits one finally paid off!
