Awhile back I posted up a bowie for Bob Furushu.

It is the Longest HB Bill has ever done I believe it is 14 1/2 and I did not ask Paul but I am curious if it is one of the longer sheaths Paul has done.

Stud by Bagwell

Thanks for sending me the pics

As always Paul your work is superb

Really nice knife/sheath combination.
That's about sword status.
Really like the stud and how Paul formed the throat to conform to the "C" guard.

I got to handle a very nice Bagwell in San Antonio.

That thing is HUGE. And very, very nice.

Congrats to the new owner.

so awesome. I would trade some one's left arm and leg for that thing.

Joey, it's not the longest sheath I've built, but it's in the top three or four for sure. The inlay material was 12 inches long which is about double the normal. The C guard is always a real challenge for the design of the throat of the sheath. I hope Bob likes it. It'll be in Mountain view, CA in about three days.

NICE!!!! Paul, what kind of skin is that and do you have any more for say a 10 inch bowie that i will be sending you Tuesday? :D

Is Bob a giant ? :)
Magnificent Bowie made even more so by Paul's stellar sheath.
Great work by all involved.
Thanks for posting it up, Joe.

Lord help me, but I do love Bagwell's Bowies.:o

And everybody loves Paul Long's work.

Put them together ... and it's trouble on the home front.

[Thanks for sharing! I really do love seeing such fine work.]

Joe, that's chocolate brown Nile Croc and that piece was taken from the side area to get that tile pattern and yes, I've got more of it if that is what you want.

that is a real nice sheath:thumbup:
...or scabbard...

Fantastic combination of knife and sheath. It doesn't get any better than that.

Good thing Paul has lots of cattle to choose from down there in Texas. That is a super Bagwell peice, and a great P. Long sheath to protect it. Really enjoyed getting to see this one! Thanks, Joe
