Some really neat knives....several photos

A friend of mine has been out a couple of times in the last week or so. He brought a few knives out to play with. I though they were worth sharing some photos of.

The Randall Model 1 and Model 14 look great. I love the stag handle on the Model 1. That Blackjack was a real nice gift. It looks like it would be an excellent chopper.

Keith, he has a nice selection of Randalls. He won an auction for a really nice Randall bowie some time ago. It is about 20 to 25 years old and nearly in mint condition. Its going to be one of his camp knives (he does a fair amount of camping). I would lke to show it also, but I screwed the photo up bad enough that it just wouldnt do it any justice.

As for the Blackjack, it chops like no other knife I have ever owned. In fact, we tested it extensively when he gave it to me, and just yesterday my wife and I used it to do some serious trimming of a pine tree and lots of bushes in our yard....I will get a pic of the pile of limbs.
