Just finished up some leather for these blades and figured I'd post 'em up.
Camp Dao -- About 6 1/2 inches of W-2 cutting edge and lots of utsuri (though the pics don't show it all ) Blue rayskin and epoxy-soaked cordage.
I originally was going to do a working finish on these, but I couldn't help myself and had to give them a hand-rubbed finish.
Compound Tanto -- this was a pain to grind, but I liked how it turned out. It is made out of hollow-ground 3/16 1095 with a 4 1/8 cuttinge edge and is about 8 3/4 inches overall.
Camp Tanto: 3/16 1095 with a 4 1/4 cutting edge and 9 1/2 inches overall. It has a frogskin underlay and epoxy-soaked cord.
