Some recent work

When you taper the Tang like that are you doing a straight taper? And if so where is the brake over line? Or is it just a convex tang with no visible transition. I guess I'm wondering about how you have to sand your scales to fit that . Are they flat on the bottom or is your tang a convex shape calling for some custom sanding thanks for the help
 
The tangs are flat ground and the transition point is blended so there is no distinct change in the lines to the eye.
