I sort of got obsessed with flippers about a week ago and have been tinkering with a couple of them. As I was finishing this one I decided that I might as well make it special as it is my first flipper, so now it is also the first "Halloween One-Off." I figure it'll give me an excuse to go crazy with orange once a year. ;)

The blade is about 3/16 thick with a 4-inch, flat-ground cutting edge. It is about 4 1/2 closed and 7 1/2-inches open. The handles are black/grey g-10 with orange g-10 inserts and an orange backspacer.

Oh, and it is IKBS-powered.

Just finished the sheathes up for these last night. They are made out of 3/16 1095 with a "Scorched Earth" finish and have about 2-inch cutting edges:

A scorched dao:

A one-of (one-off?) double-edged piece made out of 3/16-thick 1095 with hollow grinds on all four corners. The top edge is 4 inches and the bottom is about 4 3/4 inches. Overall it stretches out to about 10 1/8 inches. The handles are removable "natural"/light green G-10.

A little IKBS-powered Dao-song. This little guy is 4 1/4 closed, 6 open with a 2-inch cutting edge out of 1095. The handles are .125 ti.

And last for now, a stubby boot knife. It is built out of 3/16th 1095 and is hollow ground. The blade has a 2 1/4-inch cutting edge and is about 5 1/2 inches overall.

Mmmmm... chocoloate...... I mean, um, nice knives! They're all great, but the kiris, the dao and the folder really float my boat.

Awesome , I like your style.

The 'Flipper , I'm assuming it's a linerlock ? Those scales are the tops.

Thanks all! The orange dots made for a good excuse to play around with the new lathe. :)
