On a Belgian/Dutch knifeforum I always showed people some pics of when I abused my SFNO's. There was a guy who said Busse was crap. He also said that Busse was overpriced and that his custom handmade knives where much better. I always said that Busses are the best I've ever had, but on one day he dared me to test my Busses vs his knives on a Belgian knife show. Unfortunately I couldn't go, but man o man I regret that!! The man himself was sick so he couldn't go to the knifeshow but some one else had his knife for the knifetesting. There where 7tests. But his knife didn't make the 4th round:D After chopping some wood his knife was slightly dull;) Here are some pics hehe:D

only thing I know about the knife is that it's made off inox steel.

Wonder how that would look after a cinder block (or two) :). Only better at breaking!

What's that guy (with the letters "BKS" on his shirt) thinking?

"Uhhhh, how can I sneak out of here without anyone noticing?"

:D

The guy holding the knife,

"See, I designed the false edge to break away like this! The real edge is just under this area here.."

I think maybe the steel was too hard. or the temper was forgotten.:D
That guy looking at the blade cracks me up. It looks like he's thinking man I'm glad I didn't get one of those, and feeling sorry for the guy who's holding it.

Was there a Busse knife there to be tested as well?

If not, too bad... ;)

Not that I'm aware of. Too bad I didn't go. Probably he will ask me again to test his knife against a Busse of mine. Hope I get my LEFBM very soon;)

Ouch!!

That sure would tear some flesh with all those serrations in the blade edge..... ;) :D

Oh stop it. That edge is clearly just rolled. A few seconds with a smooth steel and it'll be as good as new.

:p

In the top photo you can see a guy in the reflection of the knife blade. It looks like he's looking at the knife and laughing.:D
