Went to check out a local Salmon run area today. There definitely wasn't as many as I've seen in the past, maybe it was still a little early.

Anyway a few pics of the hard to spot Salmon and some of the river in general.

Nice one Pit, no starving up there is there? You should do a post on ponassing (sp) some salmon over a fire!

The first nation people are the only ones allowed to catch these fish during the spawning, I'd be in big trouble for even entering the water !

There was once a brindle bull terrier that wandered into one of the tributaries and emerged with a huge Salmon flapping either side of her mouth though........not sure who she belonged to !!!!:o:D
 
Cool photos and video. We get those in upstate NY. After the fishing is over I have the Kings smoked maple. Great times but didn't get a chance to partake this year. Thanks Pitdog for offering the next best thing. :)
