Well it's been a while since I have been able to spend any time here, I've been super busy.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, this is an international site, so to those of you that don't celebrate it, I hope you have a good day tomorrow too.
Here are some of the things I am thankful for. First, my wife, she puts up with a lot of stuff that she wouldn't have to if I had a regular 9 to 5. Which brings us to some of the rest of the things I am thankful for.
I am thankful that I am able to do something that really makes me happy to show up for work everyday, now that I am pretty much full time, it's almost like being a professional sports fisherman.
I am thankful for my custom knife customers that without who's willingness to part with their' hard-earned money, I would not be able to do this. They are all extremely patient while I work through the surgery to fix my carpel-tunnel syndrome (one more surgery)
I am thankful for my handle material customers, you guys and gals are the best.
I am thankful for my new chessie-lab mix Bessie who did the best job ever on her first wild pheasant hunt, in South Dakota at nine months old and I'm thankful to be able to go on hunts like this.
I'm thankful that I live in the best country in the world, and that I have the opportunity to live, hunt and fish in the great land, Alaska.
Pike on a fly is about the most fun you can have soaking wet.
I have a lot of other things to be thankful for but I think I've delved deep enough into my sentimental side.
Here's the last knife I delivered, its a drop point hunter with a musk ox horn, mammoth tooth handle and mokume furnishings. It is 9 1/2 inches long with a 5 inch blade.
Thanks for looking, what are you thankful for?
