The crazy thing is, the entire blade looks to be covered in dimples check it out

I 100% agree with what you're saying it makes sense that dimples should only be on the flat being that when they start with the barstock dimples are grinded away , in all the knives I have striped and there's been a lot I have never seen the finished product looks like this ,whether they are dimples or just look like dimples , I'm very happy with the appearance dimples are my favorite lookThat's what I meant by grind lines, AFAIK the dimples should only appear on the flats of the knife as they are essentially the surface of the bar stock the blanks are cut from.
