Hi guys.

I have a few questions who I´m sure you can clear it out for me.

I have look at CR´s site and just wonder what is:

Polished hollow grind?

Small swedge?

Partially serrated blade?

Then I was looking at the wood inlay small Sebenza and the regular cost $515 and the classic $380. I can see there is a different style of the wood at the front side, one piece at the regular and two pieces at the classic. But is there something else hidden or is that the only difference?

There is no price difference at a plain regular and a plain classic.

Thanks

...that the regular wood inlays run more than the Classic inlays since the wood requires more fitting around the stop pin screw, etc. where as the Classic inlays are pretty much straight.

I personally like the regular wood inlays better since the Classic I've got has two inlays on the front side that don't match up in terms of grain, etc. I'm partial to the regular style anyway, though.

Hi Jocke

A major difference between the Classic Wood and the Regular Wood is that the Regular one is limited to only 60 pieces in each size, large and small.

Take care.......

ok I can understand it better with the wood now.

But I still wonder about the options

Polished hollow grind?

Small swedge?

Partially serrated blade?

Neil I´m sure you can explain it for me.

Jocke,

Polished hollow grind is when the hollow ground portion of the blade (the surface in the middle; between the top and the edge) is polished.

Small swedge is when the top part of the blade before the tip is ground on both sides to make it thinner for easier penetration when stabbing.

Partial serrated blade is basically a combo edge..half serrated half plain.

I hope you understand, some of these things are hard to explain.

I got it and I was just curious because I found it as options at CR site.

Thanks again.
