Went through my broken SAK box. Broken scales, broken blades. Decided to experiment with some of the spalted wood I got for other projects. The big safari was pretty easy to do, the other Vic just a little more difficult. The little Wenger executive was a bear. Smaller is worse then large, but I found out that there is a major difference in the Wengers I have. The blade and liners are actually inset into the scales. The outside liners are just a tad smaller. The Vic's have consistent liners which makes it very easy to put on a custom scale. So the little dog-bone Wenger is the last one I will do.
Still need to do some finishing work, a lanyard hole, and somehow seal the wood, but overall I like the look.
