Excellent!!

And I do not know what kind of plant that is.

Wonderful Thread Mistwalker! Thank you for the journey my friend. :)

that reddish hue and that tip of a leaf in the upper right hand corner screams "poison ivy" to me. I've got a FEW stories about Ms. Ivy...

I'm with you...ivy it is. In spite of having a keen eye for it, it seems that I cannot go into the woods without reaping its benefits. But I've found some stuff that puts a hurt on it in a couple of days. :)

Myst, do you EDC that Bushboot? What are your thoughts on it?

Thanks guys, and yep it's poison ivy about to bloom.

Mark, what is it you're using?

Heber, I carry it a lot, edc it for days at a time, and always keep it handy. I love it. It is a great size and great shape for every day needs. It has done everything from open packages at the PO, cutting cord and whittle spindles in the woods, getting in on food prep at home, to cutting steak in four-star restaurants.

Hi Mistwalker,

I have used most anything I could find on the market to put a hurt on poison ivy, oak, etc. The only thing for that has worked extremely fast for me has been DermaTechRx All Stop Medicated Healing Gel. I have also used their Citrus Skin Exfoliator in combination with the gel and within a day I've gotten serious relief. Within a week the signs are barely there. I listed the links below.

On another note, you are sparking my interest in acquiring another Bushboot and giving it a second try. :)

Thanks man. Yeah, since I have had this one a while now, I have even considered on with a tapered 1/8 blade with a high grind and a handle that matches the camp knife to pair them in the woods and EDC this one at other times :)

For poison ivy breakouts, I have recently discovered that a plantain poultice works tremendously. That little weed is becoming my go to for many ailments.

For me. It is bleach.

I hate to say it - but if I am exposed -and I certainly try not to be - it is a bottle of bleach in the shower.
