Sorry for the crappy pics. The reason this is only a partial showing, is the rest of the pics are even worse! :)

Top to bottom:

Burt Foster small fighter with clay coated W2 blade, stainless double guard and killer stabilized Afzalia wood handle. The hamon is MUCH better in person.

Rodrigo Sfreddo gaucho knife, with forged integral 52100 blade and killer stag.

Shawn McIntyre hunter, with forged 52100 blade, stainless guard and sheephorn handle and spacers. This was one of Shawn's 5 submitted knives for Journeyman(He passed).

Ricardo Vilar forged 52100 integral neck knife, with mortis tang micarta handle. This is a very light, extremely pointy and thinly ground knife! Also, this is one of Ricardo's 5 submitted Journeyman knives(He passed).

Ohta utility/hunter. This maker is from Japan, and does some of the finest work, at prices you wouldn't believe. Some makers would charge more for a sheath, than I paid for this knife. Perfectly ground D2 blade, handrubbed to 800 grit, very cleanly soldered stainless guard and super nice cocobolo handle. It also came with a very nice leather sheath.

Love the McIntyre and the Foster, both right up my alley.

Nice seeing you again, Dan. Always a treat, regardless of what they say about you :D

Love that Foster...yup, another maker I'd like to add one from... And great scores on the rest! :D

Well I got to put my grimy fingerprints on all of those knives save the Ohta. They are all terrific. The Hamon on the Foster is outstanding. The finish on the Sfreddo is flawless and he chose a real nice piece of stag. Super value, that knife. The McIntyre is one of the nicest hunters at the show - and there were several exceptional hunters there. The little Vilar piece was as clean as can be and another outrageous value.

Danbo knows his stuff.

Nice Pull Dan and I have to agree the McIntryre and Foster Knice!

I saw that Burt Foster fighter in person. Thanks for showing it to me, Danbo; it was a pleasure to see it.

The hamon line is profound. To have it show up as well as it does in a simple snapshot as it does in the previous picture means that it is a very profound hamon.

The handle, though, is what really caught my eye. I've never heard of Afzalia wood. It's very pretty.

Danbo,
Thanks for sharing these great knives with us - and more to come - Wow! The quality and creative standards seem to go up every year. It's a great time to be into custom knives! You have a great eye for the good ones!
