Some Tail....Beaver Tail that is!

Hello All,
Been somewhat dormant for a little while, but still working some. Lately I have done some work for a local knife maker here in SC who makes some really nice knives. This is one that I acquired from him and did a wet molded sheath using beaver tail. The knife is about 7 1/4 inches total so it makes a very nice little belt carry knife. I really like how it came out and it fits like a glove, it has enough retention that I can hold it upside down, shake lightly and it stays put. Hope you all like it.

Super cool. I too love the look of beaver tail. I think I'll order up a few. Most (all?) of the ones I've seen are veg tanned. Does it act much like cow hide?
