some thoughts on Bowie Knifes as traditional fighting knifes ...

First off - it's spelled - KNIVES - not knifes.....:)

I like bowie knives a lot also - never did much fighting with one, but I'm sure they could be deadly....:rolleyes::)
One of my bowies has a hole in the blade - I call it the Spinner Bowie....:D
I can spin it like a fan.....:D
 
Not a big fan of them for combat but i like them for other tasks. I prefer a nice curved tanto blade for a combat knife. Good video!
 
I don't see much by way of knife fighting these days, but my musket and Blunderbuss does get lots of use still ;)
