Yesterday I finished up a basic bladesmithing class with Randy Morgan......WHAT A BLAST! I had chatted with Randy several times in the past, but didn't really rememeber him until I saw his face again. What a super guy! It didn't take long with a hammer and hot steel in his hands before I saw that gleam in his eye. For someone who hasn't created knives (YET), he has a wonderful ability to grasp the concepts and principals we went over, and was further along the learning curve by the end of the first day than about 90% of the students I have taught. I not only had a fantastic time, but also got to spend some time with a QUALITY human being, that I'd be proud to call my friend. I hope he had as good a time as I did! Thanks Randy!

I've yet to meet the bastid ;) face-to-face but have talked with him on the phone and thru PM's and e-mails. Definitely one of the best !

Hey Ed. . . how's "retirement" treatin' ya ? :)

Wow!
Come home to some nice comments from my knife buds.
The Basic forging class that Ed offers was really one of the highlights of my life.Been collecting knives from the late 1960s but have been wanting to learn about the "forging" thing. Now I know about the great mystery. ;)
Great class from a great teacher and a classy guy.
Thanks Ed.
Randy

PS Thanks for those nice comments, you other guys.

Face it Morgan, you're just a cool dude. I always look forward to seeing ya and the guys at the shows.
