Just heard that Brad Embry is pretty sick.
Brad has been making knives for a while and is one of the gentlemen in the field that I have been lucky to get to know a little.

Those inclined, please keep him in your prayers.

If you would like to send him some encouraging thoughts, please email me and I will send you his email address. He is in for a tough battle.
Gus

I dont know Brad but am willing to help if I can. Knifemakers are a breed of folks who live day to day and week to week without many strings to pull when a life hands us something like this. I sent an phone message to Mel Pardue asking to repost with the addy for folks who wanted to send along anything we could. It is sad news indeed.

Hi Darrel,
Brad is another one of many "Good Guys", He has been a long time Guild Member. I sent the same type of email as your message to Mel and will keep you posted as well as the guys who emailed me, if there is anything we can help with.

Makers never cease to amaze me when someone is in need. As much as we enjoy making and collecting knives, when you lift the hood of the custom industry you find that people are the most important part of it. We may have our differences at times and that is good even when it gets a little heated, but like an extended family we rally when the occasion arises that someone is in trouble.
