First is a BBQ Set for jgdonnarx, in black micarta with yellow liners.

Next is a "special" Kephart for udtjim. It has brown micarta handles, 1/8" brass pins, thumb notches, what I call "Rockywolf Liners" ( black 1/16" thick micarta) and an extended pommel with lanyard hole. It also has a matching firesteel.

That special Kephart looks a very useful blade, great work as usual John !

I like that extended pommel on the Kephart and that brown micarta is awesome. I think I need to use that on my firekit set.

If you are interested in a fire kit, I`ll be doing 5 more in November. I`m only going to do 5 a month, if the demand is there.

I really like it. I was hoping there would be a teasing picture:D This one joins my first Kephart from John with the Oak scales. Cool fire steel:cool: too.

Check went out yesterday. Nice BBQ set as well.

As I`ve mentioned before, your other Kephart is the very first one I ever made! It`s from before I started marking them with my K stamp, so I figure it`s got to be worth at least $1000. ;)

For some reason, I really like the looks of the extended pommel. Also if I want to drive the knife into something, I don't have to tap the scales. I like it for the lanyard hole position and lastly, it works good for cracking nuts at deer camp.:D That first Kephart was my first and second JK knives, the Nessie was purchased at the same time. Saves shipping.;)
