All models are typical BirGorkha village style quality. Satin finish, slightly rough wood handles (except 12 inch Sirupati which has horn handle), tough and guaranteed for life. Typical top notch scabbards by village sarki.

l to r

17 inch Gang Rams weighing about 22 ounces. By Bura -- $75

16.5" 20 ounce WWII by Kumar -- $75

15" AK 20 ounce by Amtrak -- nice work -- $65

15" 15 ounce Sirupati by Kumar. Typical Kumar work. $50

12" 10 oz. Sirupati by Amtrak. Good knives. $45

12" 9 ounce Sirupati with horn handles. Unmarked and most likely made by Sgt Karka. $40

At these prices and for the quality I think everyone of these knives offered fall into the UBBB category.

Several available of each model.

Email to get some fine workhorses at bottom prices.

A bit of insomnia Bill? you're posting rather late. Hope your health is improving.
Nice blades but I'm saving up for Blade show.

email sent on the ganga ram - keeping fingers crossed. Lately I can't seem to time my logins with when Uncle Bill's posts his specials but I guess it pays to wander onto the forum in the middle of the night on occasion!

Close enough to what you wanted, HD?

:p :p

sheesh....at those prices, I could have taken the whole lot....but how selfish of me! Oh, the shame....

I'm holdin' back on these "project khuks" guys....Hopefully that BGRS will get finished up nicely by its new owner.

good morning.

e-mail already sent on the 15" kumar sirupati. hopefully one is still available. if car insurance wasn't due this month, i'd likely try one of the 12" sirupati's also.

now how do i hide the new khukri from my wife who already thinks that three khukris are way too many? i wonder if she'd be able to tell the difference between the 15" siru and my 18" horn ww2.

I've said it before and i'll say it again. Grab these villagers up, fellas!! They are an awesome bang for your buck. I've got a 15.5"er that was my first khuk and still feels the warmest in my hands today. If i hadn't just bought my AK bowie, and if i weren't saving up for the next run of Kerambits (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more;)), then i'd be all over these puppies. You guys should snap up the siru made by the Sgt. If the work on that blade is anything like the bilton i have by him, then it will be a fantastic knife!

I think I may have missed out. :(

Uncle Bill just e mailed me he was sold out but I'm not sure whether he meant now or berfore I sent in my order this morning.

Dayamn! Good bye Gangas...was waiting for them too!

Yes, that would be very interesting....somehow doubt it though...:(

Hope springs eternal. :D Be happy just to snag another of those Villagers if more come in later. Would love to have a Ganga that has good tempering. Mine bends more every time I use it on anything really tough.

At the price of those just offered I was planning on taking the blade off one and sending it off to be re tempered to make sure it wouldn't bend. ;)

Just have to keep checking in till they are offered again.

So Pen, is Bura the only one that makes the Ganga Ram? Every time I have seen them he is the maker. I'd like to see a Sher one or especially an Amtrak cause they seem to have the best tempering of the makers I have.

You're not the only one waiting! There’re three HI khuks that are eluding me right now: The Ganga Ram, the Berk Special (I lost the opportunity this week on both of them), and the fabled Rod Allen Hanshee (I hope a production run comes to reality).

So if more Ganga Villagers came in I'd take 2 at the price they were offered just now. Nasty, you said you'd want one right? Jose? You? So there's at least 4 sold.

Wonder if we could get an order going? Pen, do you know?

I'd be thinkin' seriously if a GRS villager special order was in the works.
I agree that the villagers are a real bargain, either as a DIY "kit project" or left as-is as a serious user tool.
