I'll leave the keys on the nail in the wall to the left of the woodstove. Feel free to grab them if you want to take the Cantina's virtual wheels out for a spin around the internet.

Red Flower and I spotted this in a rural area near the southern border of Nepal. We thought it captured the spirit of the Cantina so Red Flower took these shots for you all.

I thought you had more prayer wheels for us! :D
That truck looks like the traditional Sicilian carts.

Is "Love is Life" a common saying written on these trucks, or within Nepal itself? I've seen it painted on several of these trucks.

I was hoping someone who knew would hop in to answer this. I saw numerous painted trucks in Nepal but didn't pay enough attention to give an idea of the frequency of that phrase.

Nepalese traffic can be, shall we say, distracting. Westerners often ride with eyes clenched shut or in feverent prayer to the dieties of traffic safety. The horn is a much used tool and many of these trucks have painted requests to honk if you're going to pass.

I dunno. looks pretty subdued. I was thinking we needed something a little more loud and garish ;)

Excellent pic, Howard:)

I think this little sportscar fits the delicate sensibilities of the HI crowd. The subdued paint job fits with the low-key personalities so common here.

In addition it has excellent handling characteristics. For instance, it corners well. Actually, it can just ignore the corners and keep going, whether there is a road there or not.

that lorry looks a bit plain, the nepalis must be minimalists; try this pakistani one:

or a similar one at night:

which is being subtle compared to some i've seen.
